When watching movie in hp laptop then it gets hanged

Hello,
I have an issue in my hp laptop. Its getting hanged when i am watching movie. Can anybody tell me about the problem and remedy... I am using windows 7 os.

is it heating up?. can you hear your fan speed up? if that is the case then the simple solution would be to clean out the laptop and you should be good to go.

ya it is heating that time and the fan speed also up..How should i clean the laptop....
