Graphics cards for shogun 2

Hello, I am wondering what Graphics card would be more able at running shogun 2 on high/ultra settings or if these cards can even manage it. The graphics cards are the

XFX ATI Radeon HD5770 SS Eyefinity Graphics Card PCI-e 1 GB DDR5 Memory 2x DVI DP Single Slot


and the


Radeon Sapphire HD5870

The Radeon 5870 would definitely be more capable than the 5770, though both are getting a little old now. Do you currently have one or the other or are you looking to buy a new one? Also, what PSU are you running and what CPU do you have?

This is going to be my first custom pc build. I am planning to use a Intel Sandybridge i5-2500K Unlocked Core i5 Quad-Core Processor (3.30GHz, 6MB Cache, Socket 1155), and a XFX Pro550W psu. I just need to decide on a good graphics card for running the game on high/ultra.

both graphics card should work great (my old pc had a gt 405 and could run shogun2 at medium)

Thanks for the benchmark website. The gtx 570 looks really promising actually and it isnt hugely expensive either.

I think you'll be happy with the gtx 570. I had a water cooled one before it leaked and died on me... it is a really good card.
