cost of above = £368


will pick up windows 7 OEM, cheapest seems to be around £70 mark, anywhere cheaper in uk?

i intend on using this hooked up to living room tv for video/music. Some light gaming from time to time and general every day browsing etc etc. I initially looked at the intel options but i don't really need a power horse of a cpu. At it's price point the A10 seems better value for me as it seems to perform better than the i3's GPU.

Any thoughts appreciated. I will be ordering tonight. Unless someone sways me with a better idea...thanks.

thanks, think its cheaper due to it being 1600 not 1866

well if you use 1866mhz, it wont provide any performance gain

Well, it's an APU, so it might benefit from higher-speed RAM.

This was what made me look at the faster ram to begin with.

2133 isn't much of a difference compared to 1866. It looks like 1600 and 1866 are the best RAM speeds to get.
