No display problem

Sometimes my monitor does not recognize my computer and requires up to several restarts till it shows.
I have used several HDMI cables and monitors with the same problem.
I have also connected straight to the mobo using HDMI and DVI with the same problem.
I can hear windows booting up, it just seems to be the display.
Any help would be appreciated.

PowerCool 850w PSU
PowerColor Radeon HD 7950 3GB

is it your monitor?
did you get video card drivers?

Tried two different monitors and had the same problem, and the drivers are up to date. But the problem occurs when connecting to both the video card and mobo.

your supposed to connect to only one. preferablly your video card

sorry i phrased that wrong, i mean that the problem occurs when i am connected to either one of the video card or mobo. indicating that it probably is not a problem with my video card.

run the cpu at 3.5ghz or stock clocks then try it
