No. You have an Intel based motherboard (Socket 1155) and an AMD based processor (socket AM3). Change over to an Intel processor. Your hard drive is only SATA 1.5Gb/s, but your motherboard is SATA 6.0Gb/s. Change the hard drive to SATA 6.0Gb/s. You're power supply may be a little under-powered for your system in total. Probably better to up to at least a 550 watt Corsair PSU.

Would a different motherboard work instead of a different processor? For example ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157280&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
  3. Yes, that motherboard will work with the AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor.
