Approximate Purchase Date: Around Black Friday

Budget Range: Around $950 after taxes, no more than $1000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Graphic Design, Video Editing, Some 3D modeling, light music making, surfing the web.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: All

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg/Amazon

Location: San Diego, CA, USA

Parts Preferences: Intel and Nvidia

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 1440x900 maybe upgrading in the future.

Additional Comments: I need a semi/ full modular psu and a good case for cable management.

Also, Here is what i have so far.

cpu: i7 3770 non k
gpu: gtx 550 ti 2gb
mobo: msi z77
case: Coolermaster Haf 912
psu: OCZ ModXStream 600w modular
HDD: 500gb WD blue caviar
memory: G.Skill value ram 8gb ddr3 1333

I am hoping to get around 50 fps on ultra on Skyrim for now with this gtx 550ti and was thinking of upgrading in the future.

I was wondering what i should change, for example go with an i5 instead of i7 and a better video card (i5 3570 and gtx 660ti). Also, I am planning on getting an ssd and another 500 gb hard drive whenever i get the money to upgrade. I am open to any suggestions and will be very happy if i can just make up my mind on this build :pfff:

I mean, I know the 550ti is a pretty.. Crappy card compared to what is out on the market but I felt it was a good choice for the budget. Sorry if this does not make much sense haha

On newegg it is about $960 after tax and shipping for the build i had above. I am hoping to keep the budget around this price. Maybe up to $1000
