PSU: Corsair HX750
COOLER: ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118074
PSU: BFG Tech 650 W (not new item from old system) +3.3v 30A, +5v 54A, 12v1 20A, 12v2 20A, -5v 0.5A, -12 0.8A, +5VSB 2.5A
So My problem is computer rebooting when I am changing resolution from lower to higher , when any loads in gaming like sc 2 , when watching video basically system is unstable. It does not give me any BSOD just random reboots.
So I thought it could be PSU not enough watt for my video card but I checked some reviews l like this one http://www.overclock.net/t/1255509/could-i-run-a-gtx-670-on-my-520-watt-psu I undarstand that my card have to have +12v 30 A on a rail well I have 2 rails eache 20A so it should give me about 420Watt and my older video card GTX 275 I find out use more power then GTX 670 and it woked fine.
I have been able to stabilize my system to degrading my CPU speed in BIOS to 100 * 33 (multiplier for all cores) to 3300, I disconnect all my HD's only left one SSD Intel , discconect DVD/CD ROM and Case FANS put RAM in BIOS 1600 11 11 11 30 , so It does look like it is power supply but after calculating and looking to some forums I think 650 wats for my system should be enough.
I did memory test using W7 utility no errors, I put my older video card and it actually was worse cause more reboots (so I was thinking oh this card use more power so this is why) but again after reading forums Almost evryone saying that 650w sshould be good.
I am also running Hot CPU tester so far no errors on my hardware.....
I am thinking may be I over load one of the Rails like 3.3v or 5.5v rail I dont really understand what they are responsible for. I tried to look in to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_supply_unit_(computer) but still cant figure this out.
I used this web http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp to calculate what watts should be good for my system and I got like 547 I know it not so accurate but it should give me some idea....
So my question is it really power supply or what else I can do .
Sorry for my English it is not first language ...
Thank you
