Would This Be An Upgrade? GPU to GPU

I recently upgraded my GPU from a Zotac 550Ti ($110) to a MSI Radeon 7850 Twin Frozr ($250). Would you think that it is worth the money to upgrade to that?

  1. yep
  2. definately. The 550 ti is much much slower than the 7850.
  3. Yes!

You surely are going to get a huge performance boost. Just bear in mind that you should have a decent Processor.
  4. You are definitely going to getter better performance than the 550 ti but you could probably get even better with the EVGA 012-P3-1571-KR GeForce GTX 570 HD w/Display-Port (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card for $260 before rebates.
  5. The HD7850 will be a fantastic upgrade. It will depend on the game, but it offers similar performance to the GTX570.

+1 a bit better http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Mini-HDMI-Lifetime-Warranty-012-P3-1570-AR/dp/B004EHZD5W/ref=pd_cp_e_1 I'd go with the 570. The 7850 and 570 are very close in terms of performance, except in a few titles where the 570 has a comfortable lead. The tradeoff is the card uses more power and has less vram.
