Amd graphics card detection

Hey guys, I recently bought an hp laptop with an intel HD 4000 and an HD 7670m. Naturally I got catalyst and switchable graphics and all that, but even with it set to high performance in catalyst, things like steam still detect the 4000 as the default GPU despite my efforts. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this, or just a way to set every program to run on the 7670m, thanks.

Try the BIOS. There's an option around to set what GPU you want as default.
Related note: I avoid laptops like the plague and have never owned one or even worked with one (except some excel stuff) so I could be wrong but I'm guessing the BIOS works the same way
