Cpu for Games/3D Animation

Hello, I am wondering if I should get the amd fx 8350 or i7 950. I do 3D animation and gaming. I don't intend to spend a lot of money. For my GPU I have a asus gtx 680 directcu ii TOP.

Defenitly the I7 as it gives you the best of both worlds for gaming and heavy CPU work.
