doesnt make much of a difference as they are both outdated, i hope you aren't buying one of these

the ultra is better, but still those are pretty out of date...

difference is core clock, number of cuda cores, 256 bit vs 384 bit memory interface, 512mb vs 768mb, etc

Why I am building a budget computer for wow. Is there something better around 70 bucks

Ultra is better but unless they're free do not spend a cent on them.

The 8800 Ultra is much better. The 8800 GT has 112 shaders while the Ultra has 128. Also the Ultra is clocked higher.

^^ and wow is dx11 for what its worth (I play wow and it has a few nice dx11 fx).

My friends computer has a nvidia 8800 gt and he plays wow on high settings and skyrim on high so I figure if I get the 8800 ultra for 25 that I found it should be done for my first build.
