Hey guys,

I'm just wondering which card I should upgrade from a HD 4890 (Yes, i know it's old but still a great card) to whether a GTX 660 Ti or GTX 670 FTW.

I called in Canada's Computers and it starting price is $320 + tax that's about $361.60

But on the other hand GTX 670 FTW is $439.99 + tax thats about $497.19

But also newegg is selling it for $399.00 no tax + i think it was $7 shipment

In terms of performance and price which is better.

Hit me with your opinion!

Like matto said the 660Ti should be close in performance to the 670 according to the current leaked specs. However if you can get a GTX 670 for 399 plus shipping on newegg its probably gonna beat the 660Ti in the long run.

The 670 has impressive overclocking capabilities and you wont regret it. And 40 dollars is a small premium for the 256 bit memory interface, that interface will help with performance at 1080p and higher resolutions.(such as WQHD 2560×1440)

Otherwise you can always wait for the reviews and compare the benchmarks to see, though I'm betting the 670 is going to win by far. They will probably lower the clocks on the 660Ti reference for release, though overclocking them to compete with the 670 shouldn't be difficult at all.

Well without AA the 660 Ti will be comparable to a 670. However, bump up the AA or resolution and that 192 bit memory is going to throttle you back quite a bit, worse than 7870 or even SLI 460.
