6870 fps cap? wont exceed 60

hi, my question is sort of simple. while benchmarking in unigine heaven dx11 and playing any games with fraps for some reason my fram rate will never go above 60 fps i dont know why this is because when i first installed it yesterday i was reaching around 110 in unigine heaven any suggestions to whats up?

Turn off VSync.

Some games only go up to 60fps and have a cap, and some games have VSync, like matto17secs mentioned. VSync limits the fps to 60.

While other games are capped at 30 FPS. Lousy *khem* Rockstar *khem* games *khem* regarding L.A. Noire.
