Need some tips on overclocking my 7870

Hello, I just starting experimenting with overclocking my Sapphire 7870 Ghz Edition. I'm using the CCC to do this, and FurMark to stress test. I've set the GPU clock to 1100MHz up from 1050MHz. I set the Memory clock to 1375MHz up from 1250MHz. I also set the Power Control to 20% up from 0%.

When I run the 15 minute burn-in benchmark in FurMark, my GPU is at around 82 degrees C after about 10 minutes, and the screen starts to flicker and stutter pretty badly around this point also. Is this due to the heat, or am I just doing something completely wrong here? Any tips/advice very much appreciated. Thanks.

That is most likely caused by the card requiring too much power. Now you could try to boost the voltage a bit but the PSU most likely won't hold up. Try lowering the clocks slightly.
