Crossfire on Cheap 775 Board

So, As i know there's little difference between x16-x4 VS x8-x8 Crossfire. But, I really wonder if there'll be any difference CF with 775 vs 1155 board and between cheap and expensive board?

nope as long as the gpu isn't too overpowered for the cpu, boards don't directly make a difference here.

x16/x4 is a LOT slower than x8,x8, especially on S775. Years ago, Toms did an article on Crossfire performance, and the P35 chipset on S775 (x16/x4) was definitely not the way to go.

Edit: There is, however, little difference between x16/x16 and x8/x8.
