I'm aware that there have been countless threads about this, but after reading the article on the GTX 660 Ti, I couldn't help but to notice the HD 7970 beat the GTX 670 in every case. I was thinking of putting a 670 for my new computer, but since the 7970 is the same price, I'm kinda stuck. I like Nvidia over AMD (for no apparent reason), but I'm leaning towards the 7970. Your opinions?

+1.

It is very easy to choose. If they are at the same price then definitely get the 7970 over the GTX 670. Anybody who keeps saying that a GTX 670 is better than a 7970 is just making no sense since a 7970 with the 12.7 beta drivers trade blows with a gtx 680 and it eats a gtx 680 when overclocked.

Okay. I guess I'll go for the Gigabyte Windforce HD 7970.
