Graphics Card Recommendations

I am currently looking to upgrade my graphics card from a GeForce 9600 GT 512MB card after playing Batman Arkham City with extreme lag. I am currently looking for suggestions for an upgrade. My budget is a little less than $200 as I am a college student.

Also, would anyone recommend a refurbished graphics card? I found a GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 for $160 off of newegg.com.

System Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Asus P5Q Pro Motherboard
Intel Q8200 Core 2 Quad
GeForce 9600 GT 512 MB
4GB DDR2 RAM
320 GB Seagate Hard Drive

    When is your birthday?

On an extreme budget I would recommend a new motherboard/cpu/gpu upgrade. You can get a nice AMD chip for $110 you can get a motherboard that'll support it for $70-$80 and then a video card like BigMack suggested for $135 after MIR

Total hit to the pocketbook is ~$300 and you'll notice a significant increase in performance.
  2. Why refurbished? I don't like refurbished stuff :).

You can get this 6950 for $200, which has a $50 sale!

About bottlenecking, I don't think it will bottleneck. But my concern is your power supply, a decent ~600W+ PSU is recommended to safely run a 6950 :).
