I want to build a pc for working not gaming, and I really don't know which is the best to do that job. I have looked around, but cannot say for certain what is needed. I am working off a budget of 750 dollars. I definitely want an i5 processor can you recommend any systems to put together within that budget that would ensure a fast workflow with no freezing etc.

Thanks

It would help if you stated what you would be doing specifically on your PC but I listed components that would be more than sufficient and last you a good 5 or so years if all you would be doing is office work (spreadsheets, wordprocessing).

(All Parts were Sourced from Amazon.com)

Processor: Intel Core i5-3450 - $194.99
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler - $25.43
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G43 LGA1155 Z77 Motherboard - $109.99
RAM/Memory: Corsair XMS3 16GB 1333Mhz DDR3 Memory - $74.99
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA III 7200RPM HDD - $65.17
Disk Drive: Asus Internal 24x SATA Optical Drive (Black) - $24.99
Power Supply: Corsair CX430 430W 80+ PSU - $49.99
Case: Fractal Design R4 Black Pearl ATX Case - $105.59
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit - $92.22
Total: $743.36

You might want to extend your budget a bit to include a SSD (depends on what size) They can vastly improve your workflow. A small 60GB SSD for your OS + a few of your programs will make a big difference but I didn't know what your storage requirements were so I just went with a more spacious traditional hard disk drive.
