So I decided to run 3Dmarks yesterday just for fun when I noticed a score around 8500 with a physics score of 6500ish.

Prior to that I had a 3Dmarks score of 11500+ http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/5953623

The above results was a 3770K @ 4.5 with (1) 7970 Vapor X @ 1230 / 1635 on stock voltage and 8 GB of system ram. Power supply is 700w.

I tried returning my computer back to stock settings, and also my video card with no improvements or major changes. No matter what I do I cannot raise my Physics score.

The only thing I have done is followed this Windows 7 Tweak/Performance guide - http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?63273-*-Windows-7-Ultimate-Tweaks-amp-Utilities-*

Can anything I changed in the guide be causing this?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Open up your task manager an make sure you see all cores/threads there in cpu useage. Most likely you will see missing cores/threads, what you need to do is open msconfig select the boot tab, click advanced options, and uncheck number of processors and hit ok.

Hello,

Greeting.. i run same problem week ago, i fix it by Install/Running CCleaner . make sure you uninstall 3Dmark13/11 then restart window 8/7 then install Reg cleaner software CCleaner then install again the 3Dmark13/11 .

Other way fix is/ Fresh re-install window8/7 :D

Course of this issues is Registry DLL created by 3Dmark13/11 (usually happen when user Frequently Benchmark Trial edition)
