Which to choose amd or intel the biggest quest

iam very very confused with amd and intel.
i wanna to buy a new processor and a new motherboard as i wanna to upgrade my specs.
i just wanna to know weather amd athlon II x2 270 or any intel dual core with all features as same to it.
which is good?
my curent specs are:3gb samsung ram,intel g41 express chipset,gma 4500 1gb,pegatron ipm41-d3 motherboard and
imtel pentium dual core E5800 @ 3.2Ghz


iam gona to buy an ASUS M5A78L-M LX Motherboard, and also gigabyte nividia gt610 2gb graphics card and an amd athlon II x2 260 processor

Your are all config is not good for gaming.x2 amd is not good and old cpu.better go with intel g645 or g2010 dual core at rs 3400 and go with h61 or b75 mobo.by the way gt 610 is bad for gaming do not go with reviews on flipkart.you should aim for hd 6670 1gb gpu if you want enter into gaming.

By the way why you want upgrade.your current cpu is fine for most games.it better to save money and get better gpu.you cpu can handle upto hd 7750/70.i suggest get hd 6670 1gb ddr5 or hd 7750 1gb ddr5 gpu .ddr5 will work in your pc.

but i have got a pcie x16 version 1.1 which is very old and will bottleneck my gpu

The 7750 will not bottleneck in a 1.1 x16 slot. All of these cards are much faster and have very little performance difference between a 1.1 and a 3.0.

actually i have a budget of 10000 rs which in american dollar =$182

in this price i have to get a motherboard, a gpu and a processor(other than intel because
they are very costly).

at your bugdet you will have to go with intel.there is no amd cpu good under rs 6000.

i still suggest you to not to upgarade.your intel cpu e5800 is good for most games.there will no bottleneck in pci 1.1 speed with pci 3.0gpu.i suggest get hd 7750 at rs 7000 and enjoy with your current pc
