Hi guys

Question about networking, I want to connect 2 computers to my dsl modem what is the most simple way to do this.

One computer needs to have the full dsl speed (my gaming rig) the otehr one dsnt have to have a very fast connection(wifes emailer) I have no clue about all these routers hubs and switchers.

Somebody out there who can help me?

The easiest way to set it up is to get a router (~$100), and plug all three items into it. What OSes are you running?

If your ISP gives you more than one IP address, you don't need to spend as much as the price of a router. All you really need is a switch (preferably) or even a hub.
This is the simplest way to go about it.

You could also use a master-slave configuration, where one computer must be on all the time and act as a "server."
