Hello,
One side of the room has the main UPS and the other side has the coaxial jack currently hooked up to the modem and router. I would like to have the modem and router plugged into the UPS.
I was curious if running a 25 foot coaxial cable to the other side would degrade the internet performance at all? I was thinking maybe the signal would drop by running a 25 foot cable from the wall jack.
If that's the case then I wouldn't mind just leaving the modem hooked up to the jack and running a 25 foot Ethernet cable to the router on the other side.
What are your recommendations and opinions? Thanks.
