Will 500 watt be enough for this system ?

so basically this is the system i want to buy, btw that power supply is the one i already own, and i was just wondering would that psu be enough for this system.

PS. if you think i don't need the two 120 mm fans don't be shy to point it out.

you probably wont need 2 fans(the intel chip and 7770 should be efficient enough that it wont die of a heatstroke unless ambient temperature is ridiculous.)

A system with a single HD 7770 needs a recommended 430w power supply. That assumes a generic quality power supply.

That being said Coolmax is junk. Dont get it.


This is a much better choice. A very high quality unit for a great price. This unit actually puts out more than it's rated voltage unlike the Coolmax that probably has a hard time making 500 watts.

I'm more of the opinion you can never have too much cooling. I would add the extra fans for $12 personally.

albeit you can never have too much for cooling, a dedicated cpu cooler on a non k series cpu and a low consumption card like the 7770(as well as the gamma is a higher end budget case) It isn't necessary, but feel free to buy it.
