More about dual core
  1. Stay away, far away from AMD's E CPU series the CPU is extremely weak. Even a Core i3 clocked at the same speed (1.4GHz) would be significantly more powerful.

Based on the performance of similarly spec'ed graphic cores, the integrated Intel HD 4000 will blow the Radeon HD 7310 out of the water. The Radeon HD 7310 is roughly no better than the Intel HD 2000 graphic core found only in the previous generation Sandy Bridge desktop CPUs.
  2. i3 and e-1 is at different price range laptop........ of course i3 will much better...

If choose between, to get 300-400 price range will get u Intel Celeron B820, not the I3...

    which E-1 is better, IMO.....

edit: how much u willing to spend?
  3. Lenovo G580 = $399.99 + free shipping + No Tax (unless you live in CA or in any state where they have a warehouse like NJ and TN).

  4. wow they had that much discount ....

go with the i3, jaguarskx post........ :D

    edit:
Actually after quick check around here, e-1200 suppose to be around $300 (are the Toshiba overprice the laptop?)
  5. I suppose there's a fire sale to get rid of existing stock of Ivy Bridge laptops to make room for Haswell laptops that may be released sometime between mid June and end of July.

Office Depot has it for $340 this week. It's rapidly going out of stock though. Use their inventory checker to find a nearby store with some left.

You can try using a Staples $75 off any laptop coupon to get it down to $265. Office Depot normally takes Staples coupons. But supposedly OD HQ has told stores not to honor this particular coupon. Still, you might get lucky.
