Unlocked cpu?

Exactly as the name of the thread implies...
Im buying
AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 Eight-Core 4GHz AM3+ Processor - AM3+, Eight-Core, 4GHz, 16MB, 125W, Unlocked

As you can see, at the end of it, it says "UNLOCKED".. What does that mean, and what's better, unlocked or not?

An unlocked CPU is one that can have it's multiplier increased ie. the CPU itself can be overclocked. If you are considering gaming with that CPU, overclocking can be a good thing, some games respond very nicely to higher clocks. No other difference really
