This makes my 4th post about this system. It started out with Zambezi AMD processor, 16 GB RAM, 2TB hard drive, no SSD, And a 300 dollar MOBO.
Boy, have I learned a LOT. Here are my current parts : secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=25383067
I intend to use this system for: Gaming, Internet, Movies, no video/photo editing at all.
Overclocking: I plan on waiting for my i5 3570K warranty to die, and when it does, I'll overclock the *** out of it and get a good CPU cooler, and hope it dies so I can get a new one.
Parts I'm sure of: I don't want a bigger SSD. I don't want a Bigger HDD, I'll never use 1 TB, Since I won't be saving hardly any videos, and a couple of games will be on my SSD. I'm fairly certain about the CPU as well, it's the latest and greatest bang for the buck, and fairly cheap. nuff said.
parts I'm unsure of: The GPU. started with a 1 GB radeon 7750, and things just snowballed. I really don't want a 670, for reasons explained below.
I DO NOT. I REPEAT. DO NOT. want to spend 1. CENT. more, on ANYTHING, unless it increases performance 10x. I'm looking to save some money but keep same performance and life span. That's all. thanks for your help.

Recommend you switch out RAM to the Ares. It is low profile and won't interfere with your cooler when you add it on later.

Everything else looks pretty darn solid!
