I just recently traded my gaming laptop for this PC and was looking to turn it into a gaming Desktop PC. Here are the spec's so far on it: Mainboard : Asus P5G41T-M LX PLUS Chipset : Intel G41 Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 @ 1866 MHz Physical Memory : 16384 MB (4 x 4096 DDR3-SDRAM ) Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce 6600 Hard Disk : Western Digital WD2500AAJS-75M0A0 ATA Device (250GB) DVD-Rom Drive : Toshiba-Samsung CDDVDW SH-S223C CD-Rom Drive : DTSOFT Virtual CdRom Device Monitor Type : Hewlett Packard HP L1750 - 17 inches Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8168/8111 PCIe Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Professional Media Center 6.01.7601 Service Pack 1 (32-bit) DirectX : Version 11.00 Windows Performance Index : 3.4 on 7.9 More about : upgrade mrdowntownkiller a b B Homebuilt system October 10, 2012 8:03:40 AM what is your budget for this upgrade , because from the spec i see it up now , you need to upgrade many things. m 0 l excella1221 October 10, 2012 8:53:26 AM All that 16gb of RAM is wasted on the 32-bit OS. This is a weird pre-built. m 0 l Related resources What should I upgrade first? You wont be using all the RAM as you only have a 32bit OS but forking out for a 64bit OS I wouldnt call a priority as even if yu can use all 16GB of RAM graphically you cant play much. Your CPU is also weak it may soldier on briefly but its pretty much at the end of its useful life. m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask ! Publish Related resources SolvedWhat to upgrade first?
