Okay so I have been looking for an advice from my cousin. He suggested this specs that is within my cheap budget.

PROC: Quad Core FX-4100 3.6Ghz
MOBO: Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P AM3+
- ATI Radeon HD3000
- Built-in LAN
- Built-in HD Audio
VCARD: Powercolor HD5450 1GB GDDR3
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333 Memory Module
HDD: Hitachi Desktar 500GB 16MB Sata 6Gbps
PSU: Generic 600W PSU

Question is will the HD5450 bottleneck my CPU?

Anyone able to help there? XD Anyway, for additional info. I don't have the money to upgrade those specs right now but when I do. I will first upgrade my PSU and Case then Cooling fans then buy a UPS then a good VCARD then a good RAM. I won't mind playing on low to medium settings as of now since I don't have the money.

There no question of bottleneck with hd 5450 as it will not bottleneck with any cpu.your cpu can handle upto hd 7850 without bottleneck.hd 5450 is the worst gpu for games.gamer after 2010 will even not run at low settings.i really suggest to raise budget and get hd 6570 1gb atleast under $50.anything less than 6570 is bad for gaming.

Yes, with that CPU you can run a much faster GPU. That GPU isn't a very good one.

By the way, two things to note:

- in a gaming system, the GPU is almost always the bottleneck
- all systems have a bottleneck
