Hey everybody. Im looking to upgrade my graphics card to a gtx 660ti. Only problem is I have a micro atx motherboard, this one in particular: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

My question is, would any version of the 660ti fit in this motherboard?

Thanks,

-Stevan

Yes it will work, as long as you have enough space in your chassis (especially length)

It will work. You have two PCIe x16 v2.0 Slots on that motherboard which is compatible with the GTX 660ti. Just make sure that you have enough space in your case. Most of them require 10.7 inches or less.

Thank you both for the quick responses. I am assuming though that since I will be putting it in a 2.0 slot that the card won't run at its full potential. Am I correct in this assumption?

It won't matter because neither your Processor nor your Graphics card are fast enough to saturate the bandwidth of PCIe v2.0 let alone v3.0.

How do you know that when I didn't even tell you what my processor was? Is the bandwidth that big?
