Nvidia and ati advice

I have an Nvidia GTX560Ti on a gigabyte GA880-GM motherboard with 3-D crossfire on board, would I get better performance switching to an ATI card and useing the crossfire and if so what ATI card would be best?

In a word, No

The onboard GPU is a HD4250 with which you could crossfire a very low end 4xxx series card or maybe a HD5450 but you'd still end up with way less performance than your GTX560Ti offers.
Your much better off keeping your current GTX560Ti.
