Doubt About Graphics Card

My Mother Board is Asus M5A78L-M LX .. and i think that my pci e slot is 2.0 x16 .. can i use 2.1 type Graphics card in it ? please help me ..

Yes, the card is backwards compatible with the slot on the mobo.

Sorry .. Backward compatible means ,the card will fully support in 2.0 slot.. without any harm ? or low performance ? please ..

Any PCI-E card will work in your PCI-E 2.0 slot.
There will be no loss of performance.
BUT, you must make sure the computers powersupply will provide enough power to run the card.

You should be able to use it fine without flaw. Make sure you have the power supply for the card though otherwise it is pointless.

I am Looking for HIS AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6670 GPU 1 GB DDR3 Graphics Card and my smps is 450w . is it works smoothly ?

It will work smoothly, you don't need extra PCie power for that card so the present SMPS will do fine.
