CPU temp too high?
Feb 23, 2013, 2:18 PM
I've just built a PC the other day, everything runs fine and dandy, besides windows update giving a couple errors, but that's another story.
I have an i5 3570k, and was testing it out on some minecraft using its integrated graphics until I can get a GPU. And it gets pretty hot with just minecraft and skype open.
At some point, the cores hit:
79C, 86C, 80C, and 86C.
Is that normal at all? seems extremely hot. I don't seem to have that problem when playing a couple other things (or do I and I havent noticed? o.O)

I would probably recommend a aftermarket cpu cooler, if you don't have one. A good one is a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo.
