DV9000 Display Issue

Hello,
I have an HP DV9000t that has undergone a "Fix" to correct the Nvidia display problem. The computer worked perfect for over a year and then suddenly went blank. I connected an external monitor and that works fine. So, went ahead and replaced the display, the Inverter, and the cable. I still have no display. (Note: it does show backlit LCD). If external vga works, can it still be the Nvidia card? Is there another component that would be suspect? Any ideas?

Coud still be the nvidia chip but would lean toward the display cable connector on the motherboard if you have already replaced the cable.
