Mini barebones system

Hello,

I am looking to replace my 10 year old windows XP box with a Linux box. All it really needs to be able to do is run ubuntu or debian, star office, firefox, youtube, etc. It would be great if it could read and play 1080p mkv files and also great if it could run minecraft, but neither of those is essential. What is essential is my budget: about $200.

I saw someone in another thread recommend a mini. I found this on newegg and I was wondering if you guys think it would work for me - this is the cheapest mini on there that i could find:
