Like the tile says I am looking to build or buy a gaming pc. My price range is 1000-1300. Basically what is the best pc I could build in that price range. I am willing to buy pre built or build myself. I am also willing to buy off of any reliable site and if this helps here http://www.microcenter.com/ is the link to my local computer shop in Paterson, NJ. Like I said any help is greatly appreciated.

With your budget, you can build with a 3570K, a z77 motherboard, 8gb of ram, a ssd, cpu cooler...
Microcenter has the best deal on a 3570K for $190 if you walk in.

I could post some specifics, but you really should do your own homework and post a starting list.
That is the best way to learn.

I think I am getting lazy.

This is a complete build that is pretty beast. I included a pretty good monitor and a copy of Windows. If you get the processor from microcenter, and the rest on NewEgg and NCIX, it will come out to be about $1300 after rebates.
If you have any questions on anything, just ask.

You could swap in either 7950 or a 7970 in the build I posted. Here are some good recommendations.

7970- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121560&Tpk=asus%207970

7950- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127667&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

The 7970 is at a close price point to the 670, just a little more. You can actually get considerably better performance out of it for the extra $20 or so dollars.
