Will it 'run' properly on my PC?

Hello there! I'd like to purchase nVidia GeForce GTX 690, it costs a lot but I can afford it.. but first I want to know if it will run properly with the best performances on my computer.

Tell me if I need to add anything, or even upgrade the PC.. I don't know that much about computers at all, I'm just gaming a lot

Yes it should run fine if your PSU can support it! On the other hand if you have the money swap out the motherboard and CPU and get a K series CPU that you can overclock!

I agree with rolli59. Be sure to check your PSU and personally I'd get a 680 instead and use the money difference to upgrade motherboard+cpu

get a z68 mobo, so you can get i5-2500k which infact is necessary for ultra settings on any game nowadays.

If I will play on 1980x1080 with high settings.. will anything go wrong? I'm not going that crazy.. 2560x1600 etc.. Will it work properly?

And how can I check what PSU am I using?

Open up the case and look at it. If you cannot understand at what you're looking at, take a picture. We need brand and model. Wattage is pretty much irrelevant.
