hello people :bounce:

i want piece of advice about decision to buy (my first) laptop

i know , and is already known INTEL is better than AMD

but i know what i want roughly from my laptop to perform and i dont want to throw money out the window sort of speak

i dont want to play games on my laptop

i do want to watch live graphs on the whole monitor without freezing problems or such

in essence a working office laptop (when you dont intend to play games on it)

my question is an A6 or better good enough or should i still look for an i3 or i5 because they have better value ?

assume memory, hdd, usb3 , screen size the same for both

thanks,

Well, for starts, Intel is not necessarily better than AMD
AMD is great for budget builds
Intel has great bang for your buck if your willing to spend a little more.

By office work, I see MS Word, and some Powerpoints and Excel.
Go ahead with an A6, full powerpoint graphs... right around 4gb of RAM, to be safe.
a 250 HDD Should be good, USB3 comes standard with laptops nowadays, screen size should be around 15-17 inch's.

HP and Lenovo have some good offers, that A6 will do fine with Powerpoint word and excel, along with internet browsing and videos, and the occasional facebook game.
