Hi - realhardtech suggests a quality 550w (min 30a on +12vrail) unit for a sys
with a 7970. The cx600 is more than ample.

However, if you have a system with a 7970 you might want to step up from
budget/opening price point(cx) series. I'll list some alternatives to consider:
