I'm mostly daydreaming here. This is what I think would be cool:
I have a few systems in the house in a wired & wireless network. I have one
TV with only an antenna for local stations (no cable, digital cable or
satellite). I would also on occasion like to watch TV in my media player on
a system while I use it. Yes, I can get a tuner card, but I'm dreaming out
loud here.
What I would like is, if there was a device/system that took the cable
input, and could stream any channel on demand, including simultaneous
streams, over the entire network. Maybe streaming ports could be mapped to
channels or something. Basically, any channel could be viewed on any system
(even my PDA) in the house. I hope I explained it well.
Has anyone heard of such a thing?
