Should I buy system recovery for a computer? (AVADirect)

I'm planning on buying a computer from AVADirect. They give me options for system recovery. $30 for a system recovery CD or DVD, $30 for a secure HDD partition, or $45 for both. Should I pay for these things? Should I get both for $45?

Also, I will have my OS on an SSD. Will the partition go on the SSD? How much space should it take up? The OS will be Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Just looking for an approximate amount.

Assuming you have a cd/dvd burner in your computer you can create your own. So no you should not pay for this.
