This is a late reply but my initial search brought me to your thread.

I just retrieved mine from not in use DVD Player and tried on an Windows XP machine I had fired back up to life, but didn't have a wire within vicinity so I took my UWA-BR100 and got it to work with the drivers found at the following site. (They have drivers for all current Windows Versions I believe).

Go to the right hand panel under: "Windows driver" it worked like a charm. :wahoo:

Thank you so much for the info - very helpful! We are still having issues installing the Sony UWA-br100 on our Windows xp desktop. The file downloaded from the link you provided only includes the below:
1. athuwx System File 2173kb
2. netathuwx Security Catalog 9kb
3. netathuwx Set Up Information 52k

I previously had the adapter on my Sony TV, purchased separately, and did not have problems, so assuming the issue is similar to the post prior to yours where they said it could only be used w/ TV's/BlueRay devices. Your post gave me hope! The computer we are using does not have Wireless so hoping to use the existing adapter.
Thank you so much!!!
