Windows itself will eat all that up, it may not even be enough after a while. I don't really know about Diablotek PSUs. If you want cheap but quality ones, check Rosewill Green or Antec Earthwatts/Green. You might want at least 4gb of RAM. kitsunestarwind October 12, 2012 6:46:56 AM I would recommend a 64gb SSD, even if 32gb is enough better to have more free space for write leveling. And a better brand PSU otherwise everything else is plenty good enough for Ubuntu Related resources Cheap ubuntu - Forum Budget build to run Ubuntu - Forum Only Programming Computer no games running Ubuntu - Forum First Build : $300 Ubuntu Dev Box. This: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... a bit more expensive but I wouldn't risk Diablotec. gabe5805 October 12, 2012 7:23:13 AM excella1221 said:Dear you're better off getting an HDD. 32gb just isn't worth it no matter how little space they use. Well i won't be installing windows I'm using Ubuntu which is like 5 Gb total and i'd prefer and ssd since they are much faster. FinneousPJ October 12, 2012 8:39:25 AM The SSD is fine. Thankfully Ubuntu isn't a hog like Windows. excella1221 October 12, 2012 2:04:54 PM Oh right, this is an Ubuntu thread. My bad. 32gb is still a bit small though... woshisl84 October 23, 2012 5:51:48 AM The SSD you post is not a regular SSD, it is a caching SSD, so you will still need another hard drive. And this SSD is Windows 7 only, probably won't run with Ubuntu. Can't find your answer ? Ask ! Publish Related resources: ForumUbuntu /W7U & Mac Lion: Best storage solution?
