EVGA GTX560 SE Thoughts

Recently I upgraded from my Asus 550ti, I had the chance to purchase an 5870, Its an awesome card but figured spending 150 on a 3 year old card with no warranty is not worth it. I purchased a 7770 Diamond DB Ghz edition, I had nothing but issues with card, crashing, freezing, I tried every AMD driver from 12.2 - 12.8 and still nothing but headaches.

So I then went out and bought an EVGA GTX560 SE, everyone gives it a bad review, I'm honestly pleased with this card. It performs better then my 550ti did.


Why is this card so frowned upon.

some people call the 560SE the gtx560 suck edition.

its a good card if it costs as much as a 550ti but otherwise, its probably not worth it since the 6870 costs 144.99 after MIR

People don't like it because it is priced too high for what you get as the 6850 is faster and the same price and for a couple of shiny pennies the 6870 is much faster.

Unfortunately I don't have a cc to order a card online, otherwise that would of been my first place to go to. This card was surprisingly cheaper then my 550ti by a few bucks and I get better performance in games. The max I was willing to spend was one 170 which left me with 2 choices 7770 which turned out bad lol, and this card, the 560 was 210. I don't have a lot of card options in my city sadly.
