How is this for a gaming rig?

Sorry if this is the wrong place, just signed up now.
I was looking around on Kijiji for a gaming rig, and I came across this. Can someone tell me if it would be a good buy for 200$ bucks?

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50GHZ
RAM: 4GO
Hard Drive: 500 GIG + 250 GIG
Windows Vista Pro 64 bits
Grsaphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS
Network Interface Controller: Intel 82566DM- 2 Gigabit
Also with 2 extra places for memory sticks.

My buddy said it would be a great buy, but he's prone to exaggeration. He told me that the Graphics Card would need an upgrade in a while, but otherwise it was awesome, mostly due to the Quad Cores. Can someone else give me their opinion?

I don't think so. You would be better off saving your money. If you do buy it you will end up rebuilding it from the ground up later on and there goes the $200 you spent.

as per you budget which seems super tight .. it's decent but I recommend you better be saving money if you want a gaming gig .. it's not even near to it .. main problem is with your GPU ..your processor can handle most modern games but really it's all about GPU for gaming save some money buy something as 580 gtx in low budget .. it will be suffice for average gaming
