Any Suggestions? i would play BF3, Crysis 3, Far Cry 3, and Black Ops 2. is the MSI 970A-G43 a good Mobo for FX 6300? My budget is $650.
the second one.
reason: though the 3570K is the Much more powerful chip between the two, in real world gaming scenario the major difference would be brought out by the GPU you have.
a 7870 is Much more powerful than 650 ti. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/548?vs=680
a 6300 will not have any problem pushing the 7870 to it's limits and if an Overclock is required to do so, the 6300 will OC easy and stable ~ 4.2-4.5 GHz range.
Well the i5 is the best gaming cpu most would say, but the fx 6300 is a great performance for its cost, and most would say gaming is usually more about the gpu and being the 7870 beating the 650 ti in performance, just on the gpu alone would go fx route.
MSI motherboards are known for vrm failures, and i beleive the g43 only has a 4+1 power phase, which is not great for overclocking, but okay if ur using stock speeds.
At least go with the gd46 if ur buying thru newegg, shipping costs make the 43 $2 less than the gd46. Or if u can an asus/gigabyte 970
