I accidentally, while installing a new internal DVD Drive, pulled the H.D.D. LED wire that connected to the front panel of my case. I find that about 1/10 times, my PC will turn on only if the circuit board with the wires connected are facing a certain way.

This is a very big issue for me and I'd like as much feedback as possible on how to solve this problem.

Is it really a problem at all? Did I do something else I'm not aware of? Will I need to buy a replacement case because of this incident?

My build is:

NZXT Vulcan Case
ASRock 960GM/U3S3 FX mobo
G.Skill Ripjaw 8GB 1333 DDR3 RAM
Phenom II x4 Black Edition 3.4Ghz
730w PSU
EVGA GTX 550ti
