I'm having a hard time finding subjective opinions on Win 7 performance under AMD E350/450 based systems. I'm not expecting stellar outcomes, but I'm more interested in boot times, desktop lag, etc. What is the performance of one these paired with a agility series SSD for instance?

No gaming, just inet, email, word etc... Can the E350 run Win 7 smoothly?

I'd like to hear from people that have actually used this combo, rather than generalizations like "well an i3 would be faster". The concern here is low power and a very small foot print.

Thanks.

I am looking at this setup as well but don't have any direct experience. All I can tell you is what I have seen in my research, including this forum. My alternative is a Sandy Bridge Celeron (G540 or equivalent) or Pentium (G630 or equivalent). I am leaning toward the Celeron. Most of the reviews I am seeing suggest that the Celeron performs much better. E350 will work for most tasks but slower. From reviews the E350 definitely sounds superior to Intel Atom, but not as good as Celeron/Pentium.
