I have a moles to PCI- E converter which my friend neede for his ATi 5670 Video card.
I'm a bit confused whether why the connector has only 5 pins over 6 pins.
Are there any disadvantages of having one pin less or will it work fine with that GPU?

Solution
The connector accepts up to 6 pins but many only have 5 its fine, similar to the 4pin molex to sata power adapters, they don't have the 3.3v power but the majority of all hard drives do not use this so they are fine to use.
