Screen tearing i think

Hello, I bought http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129145 And had it for acouple months until i burned out so i took it out and used my old onboard card now i get screen tearing in my games Help D:

Turn on vsync it should limit the tearing you get, and turn down the settings a bit.

Enable Vsync and it will get rid of all screen tearing .

THAT is not screen tearing. Those are so called artifacts. Your onboard GPU is damaged it seems.

SO is that maybe why my new graphics card isnt working on it?

Faulty onboard GPU has nothing to do with discrete card, because it is turned off when discrete card is in the computer. Checking your memory would definitely confirm/deny faulty onboard GPU. You can check it with memtest tool, downloaded from www.memtest.org
