  1. i need a system budget, location, and parts not required. ill figure out the rest
  2. It should be within 280-300$
  3. Actually, One of my friend has own hardware service centre and he will work out on my system. He is not expert so that I have asked this question to Toms.

I would be getting 55-60$ on my current specs. but It won't affect overall budget.
  4. you arent going to get a decent system with 300. 500 is what id consider the lowest.

i got it to around 450. anything lower will mean crappy components

if you dont need the os, you save 100 dollars
  5. buddy,

    I need CPU+MOBO+RAM only..

    rest I have..
  6. all 300$ for all that things..
  7. That link was fantastic... look I have found something very good..

  8. I'm from India and I cannot buy parts from USA stores..

I want to know better parts at their prices as per my requirements..
  9. no its very bad. you need to spend most of your money on the GPU rather than the CPU. spending more on a CPU is useless at this price range

for modern gaming, id suggest at least a 6870 or a gtx560

  10. Look! Thats why I'm here..

I really dont know what is more important in Gaming system.

can you please explain what does it makes sense having lover CPU than GPU for gaming experience? What are the factors??
  11. Performance in games rely mostly on GPU, not CPU. It really depends on the game, but a majority do.
  12. more GPU power = more gaming power

more CPU power = overall faster rig. but the increase in gaming power from the CPU isnt as big as the GPU
  13. Okay... Thanks for your suggestion..

I would like to finalize system first then Graphic Card.. I will make up some ground to have good GPU card.. let me know.. if progress of good pc should I go with below mentioned Specs..

Please go through below mentioned shopping website belong to my location. that'll help you to choose better for me.

    Core i3 - 2120
    Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H
    Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB)(DDR3-1600/PC3-12800)

that all fit at Rs 12990($241) courtesy of www.flipkart.com
  14. no i told you to get a pentium since its not that much of a CPU power thing. its the GPU that needs the most attention. if you can afford both a i3 and a gtx560 or a 6870, then id get the i3

and run memory in sets of 2. so get a 2x2gb set. single channel memory is slowwww
  15. Well, that looks great..

I want to make it stick and that why i chose i3. I'll get GTX 560 as well.

Was it correct configuration to go for good gaming system?
  16. I'd like to know you my current configuration. It is as mentioned below.

    CPU - Pentium Dual-Core E5200 @2.50GHz
    Motherboard - Asus P5QPL-AM
    RAM - 2048MB (DDR2-SDRAM PC2-6400 399 MHz)
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Professional Media Center 6.01.7600 (64-bit)

    Windows Experience Index Scores
    CPU - 6(7.9)
    Memory - 5.5(7.9)
    HDD - 5.6(7.9)

is it good enough? or should I go for upgrade?
  17. it isnt all that bad but it would be a large upgrade from a 775 rig
  18. So 1155 good enough to get?
